Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Eduzuma — our worksheet tools, AI features, subscriptions, and school team plans. Written in plain English. By using Eduzuma, you agree to them.

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Short version: create great classroom resources, respect the platform, you own your worksheets. Paid plans renew via Paddle until you cancel. Refunds available within 3 days under our Refund Policy.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Eduzuma (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Eduzuma on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. The Service

Eduzuma provides an online worksheet studio with 49+ tools for puzzles, English, and math, optional AI-assisted content generation, PDF export, and (on eligible plans) school team administration. Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. Eduzuma is for educators and content creators. Students do not use the Service directly.

4. Accounts

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure.
  • One individual per personal account. School plans include the number of seats purchased.
  • Notify us at hello@eduzuma.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Free trials are limited to one lifetime grant per network (IP-based abuse prevention).

5. Subscriptions & billing

Plans

Eduzuma offers Free, Basic, Pro, and School & Educator plans. Limits include AI word credits, daily sheet downloads, watermarks, and multi-page generation as listed on the pricing page. We may update features with 30 days' notice for paid subscribers.

Payment

Paid subscriptions and booster packs are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancel anytime from My Account.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy: a 3-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid purchases, subject to fair-use limits (including the 10,000 AI-word threshold). Booster packs and renewals have separate rules described there.

Taxes

Paddle calculates and collects VAT, GST, or sales tax where required at checkout.

6. Your content

You own worksheets and content you create ("Your Content"). You grant Eduzuma a limited licence to host and process Your Content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership and do not use Your Content to train third-party AI models.

7. AI output

AI tools produce drafts based on your prompts. You must review all output before classroom use. AI may occasionally produce inaccurate content — apply your professional judgement. AI usage consumes word credits as shown in your account balance.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Create illegal, harmful, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Abuse free trials (multiple accounts, automation, or circumvention of IP limits).
  • Scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service without permission.
  • Share credentials or exceed seat limits on team plans.
  • Attack or disrupt our infrastructure.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

9. School teams

School plan owners may invite co-teachers by email. Shared AI credits are drawn from a team pool. Owners are responsible for managing invites and compliance with these Terms by team members. Access ends when the School subscription ends or a member is revoked.

10. Our intellectual property

Eduzuma's software, design, brand, and tool templates (excluding Your Content) remain our property. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service while your account is active and in good standing.

11. Third-party services

The Service integrates Paddle (payments), Supabase (data), Google Gemini (AI), and hosting providers. Their terms apply to those components. We select providers with care but are not liable for third-party outages beyond reasonable remediation.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. Surviving sections (payment obligations, IP, disclaimers, liability limits) continue after termination.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular curricular standard. Educators remain responsible for pedagogical appropriateness of all materials.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eduzuma's total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

16. Contact
